I’ve been quiet lately! Not because I have nothing to say, I just haven’t taken the time to write it. BUT I have been talking a lot on my podcasPodcastt and stories. What’s on my mind on a Wednesday?? The idea of “hanging in there”! –
Sometimes the hanging is casual and not too strenuous and sometimes you are hanging with one finger on the bar. 😳 It’s just enough to keep you pushing forward and not drop! But here’s the thing…you have gravity, weight, strength all the factors that are working for and against you that adds to the strain. It all comes down to CHOICE. You get to choose if you are going to let go. The figurative dropping is actually you letting go. So how do you not let go?
It’s as simple as ABC!
Attitude, Blessings, Commitment
A – ATTITUDE or mindset. What’s your why? Is your end goal important enough that you’ll run into a burning building for it?
B – BLESSINGS or gratitude. You have other things that are going good in your life. Think and be thankful gets you out of that negative space.
C – COMMITMENT or discipline. If your ‘why’ is important to you, then stay disciplined through the process. This is the execution piece that activates the strength to hang on!
I’ve had a lot of times this past year where I felt I would break. It brought me down to the depths of depression, something I hadn’t experienced severely in 12 years because I managed it remembering my ABC’s. It’s the ABC’s that gave me the added power to Choose to NOT LET GO!
